Join us for Lifedoc Health’s 2nd Annual Healthier Memphis Gala, Presented by Green Dot Public Schools Tennessee! Hosted at the historic Memphis Botanic Garden, our Gala will be held on March 8th from 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM and once again feature some of our city’s finest Chefs, led by Dory’s Dave Krog, for a culinary experience that can’t be missed. Last year, our inaugural gala was dedicated to more than 8,000 Memphians left without a medical home in the wake of COVID-19. Thanks to these efforts, we were able to complete construction on our new 30,000 sq. ft. Lenox Park facility as scheduled and opened our doors in June. This achievement was made possible through the invaluable support of our donors, partners, and fellow Memphians. Since then, we have been able to grow our team of passionate healthcare professionals, and in our first year, are projected to deliver nearly 22,000 more patient visits than we did in 2023, a growth of nearly 40%! This year's gala is every bit as ambitious, if not more so, as we shift our focus to a different Lifedoc Health initiative with the potential to provide a transformative impact and lasting change to our communities: our School-Based Health Services. Since 2018, we have been working with Green Dot Charter Schools in order to better understand the health disparities in our underserved populations and develop community health resources for early detection and prevention. Our goal is to be able to work with key partners and stakeholders to develop School-Based Health Services as a healthcare safety net for those facing glaring limitations driven social determinants of health. Through these efforts, we hope to deliver a sustainable and effective model that can be replicated by others across the State.
